Kualani and her team blew away myself and our guests with her delicious food. Kualani was open to collaboratively creating the menu items together and delivered on what was requested: traditional New Mexican food that was warming for our Fall wedding. We received tons of complements from our guests on how great the food was. Not only was Kualani easy to communicate and plan the menu with, she was always responsive to our questions and remained flexible and accommodating when special dietary restrictions were needed. Additionally, Kualani was very prepared; she and her team set everything up the day before to make the wedding day seamless and stress-free. I would highly recommend Kualani and her team.

My wedding was last year and I still think about the food. We had a few family crises afterwards where we were not able to write this review. But my husband and I were going over our wedding pictures with family recently and everyone kept reminding us of how good the food was. We had tamales and fresh bruschetta for our cocktail hour. Our Mexican American family were pleasantly surprised as they are harsh critics of all Mexican food. For our dinner the salads we had were divine. I remember forgoing pictures to get seconds. The corn risotto, I still have dreams of it. And I was so afraid of having barbecue items because I was afraid I'd spill but the chicken and the ribs were divine especially with the sauce. I'm glad we were able to find her. It makes us look back with a smile when we see the food pictures from our wedding.

We hired Kualani (Ku) and her team for our wedding at Leaping Deer Ranch and our already high expectations were blown out of the water. The food was unbelievably delicious (the corn risotto was a crowd favorite — unreal!), diverse, colorful, and responsibly sourced (local NM beef, salmon flown in from the NW). Ku was a joy to work with as well; she brought a calm, positive, and welcoming energy throughout the weekend, always reminding us that she could accommodate whatever we needed while working in our space. The whole process was collaborative as well and Ku kept us in the loop at every turn. I was heavily involved in the creation of the menu and was even invited to taste test the sauces the day before the ceremony as Ku prepped with her team. Ku was also extremely organized, knowing just how to time everything, how to serve efficiently, and even had her team set up our event space — this wasn't her first rodeo! I'm not just being hyperbolic when I say that this was one of the best meals I have ever eaten, seriously, which was nice given that it was my wedding day. 11/10 would hire again. What a wonderful spirit. Thanks for everything!

Let me just start by saying that 5 stars are not nearly enough! My mom wanted to celebrate her birthday in Taos with her closest friends and my sister and I wanted to throw her a special dinner to celebrate. We came across Chef Kualani's page and I am endlessly grateful that we did because the entire process could not have been more perfect. From the very beginning, Kualani was incredibly warm, communicative, and endlessly accommodating. She was open to any requests we had but also came up with the most unbelievable seasonal menu for the dinner. Dealing with her was a pleasure each and every time and she helped me go through all the details so that nothing was forgotten. And the dinner — THE DINNER. The food was absolutely incredible. I'm still thinking about her spring pea soup with truffle oil. Every course was fantastic. But Kualani is not just a chef, she is a true hostess. She and her partner Richard came in to our AirBnb and handled literally EVERYTHING. She brought beautiful plates and flatware so we didn't have to rely on the AirBnb's stash. She decorated the table. She even made my niece a grilled cheese sandwich while she was prepping. And then, at the end of one of the best meals of my life, they cleaned everything up and left the kitchen better than they found it. The dinner absolutely made my mother's birthday and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

My daughter used Ku as the caterer for her wedding. The food was fabulous! Ku and her staff were fabulous! She used all locally grown fruit and vegetables as well as grass fed local beef. Every single menu choice was delicious. The presentation was simple and elegant. If you need a caterer in northern New Mexico, Ku is the BEST!

If you aren't hiring Kualani for your catering needs then what are you doing?! Hands down the best catered food I've had for an event. I attended a wedding at Leaping Deer Ranch. Kualani and her team were organized, friendly and cared deeply about the food they were serving. Everything was fresh, local, and responsibly sourced. The various sauces (green sauce, wow!) were the star of the show and she spent all day curating them and even letting the groom taste-test. Thank you Kualani and team for an unforgettable meal!

Amazing Chef! We hired Chef Kualani for a private birthday dinner for my mother. Her passion for food came through in the very first email. She is amazing! You can tell that she loves the whole process of procuring, preparing, cooking and serving. We gathered from all over the world and this was the best meal we have had, possibly ever. She tends to use local and fresh ingredients which made all of the dishes stand out. Chef K is very talented.

Kualani was a joy to work with. As a wedding coordinator, finding an amazing caterer like Kualani can be hard. She was professional, timely, and her food was inspired! Honestly the best food I've ever had at a wedding and I've been to many. All dietary restrictions were honored and her and her team cleaned up after themselves, leaving the kitchen at Leaping Deer Ranch spotless! If you are looking for a chef who not only cooks creatively and deliciously, but is also wonderful to work with, Kualani is your person!

Chef Kualani and her crew did a fantastic job for our wedding. It absolutely exceeded our expectations and all our guests were delighted with the food and the service. We hired Chef Kualani to cater our wedding for 20 people in a large Airbnb that we rented. Chef Kualani and her crew were very professional, and nice enough to accommodate last minute requests. The service was top notch making the whole experience memorable.

My partner and I decided on a micro wedding. We thought extensively about what we wanted to do for dinner (book a restaurant, cater, takeout, etc.) and eventually found Netzero. After a single phone call with Chef Kualani, we knew we had found the perfect partner to bring our vision of a luxury micro wedding to life. Chef K is just as compelling a person as she is as an artist. We thoroughly enjoyed working with her to put together a fabulous menu and wine pairing. She sourced amazing local and seasonal ingredients and flowers for our dinner. Chef Kualani was extremely easy to work with. She was able to spot potential problems ahead of time and work with her team to develop solutions in the background without us even knowing. Her team really made the evening magical. They planned a few lovely surprises for our guests and easily pivoted when we had to move our wedding indoors due to rain. All of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food — if not some of the best food in general — that they ever had. They also enjoyed watching Chef K, Chef Maddie, Avery, and the rest of the team work in perfect harmony in the kitchen as they delivered a luxury 5-course dinner to 24 people. It absolutely made our wedding a night to remember.

I recently planned a wedding with Netzero Ranch as the caterer, and they knocked it out of the park. The food was some of the best I have eaten at a wedding (which says a lot coming from a planner who's been eating wedding food for 5 years) and the team was so professional and helpful. Highly recommend, and would be so happy to work with them again!

Kualani, River, and their team made our wedding very special. They arrived early and stayed late to make sure everything was perfect during the event and clean at the end of the night. The table was set beautifully, meal was coursed and timed well, we never felt rushed. Maddie's pavlova was to die for, the beef was cooked perfectly, and we loved the corn bisque and watermelon radish salad. The team was kind and very thoughtful. We would highly recommend considering Net Zero for your next event — our wedding was made extra special because of it. Thank you!

I hired them as an event coordinator for a unique event at a trailhead with no water or electricity, and Netzero met every challenge with a smile and positive attitude. We used Chef Kualani and Netzero Ranch for our wedding dinner and cannot recommend her and her team enough. The food was delicious, creative, and exactly what we hoped for from a seasonal, local meal. We had multiple guests note that this was the best meal they've ever had at a wedding, and we couldn't agree more. The next day we were wondering when we could have a reason to hire Kualani and eat her food again. Kualani and her team were also true professionals the day of and in the lead up to our event, answering all my questions promptly and thoroughly and making sure we were feeling good and on the same page. Since we were coordinating from out of state, this was a huge relief and much appreciated. Lastly, I want to emphasize how much we valued Netzero and Kualani's emphasis on sustainability and low waste. That was a deciding factor in hiring her company and a big theme of our event outside of the food — we were committed to having a wedding that was small and as low impact and low waste as possible. It was clear Kualani and her team were just as passionate about this matter as we were, and it was a joy to work with people who shared our values. Hire Netzero — you won't be disappointed.

As a wedding photographer, I had the BEST meal that I have ever had at a wedding in the 5+ years that I have been doing this full time. The team was all super nice and efficient all night long. Even the display of the buffet table was aesthetically pleasing. Everyone at the wedding was commenting on how good the food was! A few bachelor friends and I were at a wedding in Santa Fe, and NETZERO Ranch was the caterer. Wow! Their food is so delicious, everything was fresh and organic. Every dish was better than the next. We all overate. The vibe from head chef Kualani and the rest of her staff was also fantastic; everyone on the team was friendly, kind, and great to be around. We worked with Netzero to create a wedding meal for our son and new daughter-in-law's wedding meal. I'm not sure I have the words to describe the magic delivered by Kualani and her team. The tablescape fit the vibe of Many Feathers ranch. Dishes were prepared based on choices to accommodate our 15 guest's particular preferences, no cilantro, no meat for some, to name a few, and the ingredients were sourced from local purveyors, so only the freshest bounty was used. The food was beyond delicious and the delivery of each course beautifully plated. It was pure joy. I am only sorry that I have no photos to share and that I didn't get to cook with Kualani and learn some of her tricks. Thank you Net Zero!

Wow! Absolutely the most FANTASTIC and healthy meal I have had in years. Kualani is definitely a culinary master and very professional. I have food allergies to gluten and normally I can't eat much of what's offered with a catered meal. Not the case with Netzero Ranch Catering. The options for gluten-free were plenty and so darn good! I kept having to repeatedly ask… Is this really gluten-free?

We were thrilled with the catering provided by Net Zero Ranch for our small wedding at an Airbnb in Taos. Right from the start, Chef Kualani's communication was excellent, and she went above and beyond by recommending other vendors that complemented our event perfectly. The entire menu was plant-based, and the food was not only delicious but beautifully presented as well. She listened and was very flexible to any changes we wanted to make. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the dishes. The service was impeccable, and the staff were attentive and professional throughout. Chef Kualani and her team gave my wedding guests an authentic New Mexican meal that was presented BEAUTIFULLY and tasted beyond our wildest expectations. Her delight and enthusiasm for using local organic ingredients oozed from her every pore, as did her love of cooking. Her back story is amazing… you will have to ask her directly when you hire her!

Chef Kualani and the team at Net Zero Ranch are a rarity: a caterer that was professional and artful, served an amazing meal that was delicious and filling, was willing to work within our budget, and sourced all of their ingredients and products sustainably and thoughtfully. Their dinner elevated our wedding and left everyone impressed and grateful. Five stars doesn't do the experience justice. From the start, Chef Kualani worked with us to craft a menu that had the local New Mexico touches we wanted (bison brisket, roasted corn polenta), hearty options for both omnivores and vegetarians, and a broad range of produce from the ranch. She went through multiple iterations of the menu with us and was always mindful of our budget. Naturally, it poured on wedding day. Chef and her team quickly adapted to the rain, modifying their setup and somehow, against all odds, serving brisket and chicken (for 80!) that was perfectly cooked. People were genuinely amazed at the quality and quantity of the food, the surprising ingredients, and the kindness of the staff. No one left hungry (and we happily ate leftovers for the next couple nights). The dinner was closer to one at your favorite restaurant than a typical wedding dinner. If we could eat at Chef Kualani's weekly, we would. We are already daydreaming about ways that we can work with Net Zero Ranch again in the near future.

Highly recommend Netzero Ranch! Kualani was a master chef and provided us the most delicious meals during our family vacation! She created a wonderful menu, sourced fresh ingredients, created appetizers, salads, main course with sides and sinfully delicious desserts — and handled all the clean up. She is wonderful and kind and loves what she does which comes across with every dish.

Chef Kualani and her team are incredible. We hired them to cater a wedding rehearsal dinner for us with about 21 people outside of Santa Fe for our destination wedding. And to be honest, the fantastic food, and just radiating good energy they brought to our night was a large part of what made our wedding weekend and gathering of families so memorable and successful. Chef Kualani worked with my fiancé and I well in advance of our night, to curate and develop a menu that fit not only specific dietary restrictions that we personally had, but that also would be delicious and accessible for all in our party. We ended up settling on a sort of family-style service, which had options for both meat eaters and vegetarians, and leaned into ingredients that were sourced from local farms and markets, and gave us the best possible flavor of the time and season. Chef Kualani and her team arrived to our large Airbnb on the afternoon of our rehearsal to start setting up, prep, and cook the meal while we were at our rehearsal. When we arrived back, they were well on their way to having our planned courses prepared, and greeted us and our party with such a warm and inviting energy, starting our night out in such a great way. We can't speak highly enough of Chef Kualani, and her flexibility, her commitment to creating the best possible menu for us, and her whole team's focus on sustainability, and local farmer support. Wish we had another event that we could use her for. :)

Chef K was absolutely wonderful to work with from initial inquiry to til the very end. She immediately understood our vision and propelled it to the next level! The food itself was five stars, but to be prepared and presented by Chef K and her gracious staff was what made our event the most memorable one yet.
